Excellent for Plantar Fasciitis.
by Paul Feifert
I had two pairs of g-defy sneakers which I found very helpful in relieving my foot pain but needed a pair for hiking and working outside in rainy/muddy weather. I also require a wide width. The Sierra High Top fits the bill. It is very comfortable and combines the VersoShock heel with a rocker sole in a waterproof boot. The g-defy sneakers are much more comfortable and soothing to my feet than any other shoe I have tried and the Sierra boot is even better.
If you do not feel pain, the break-in period is optional.
My wife tried my Sierra boots on and also found them very comfortable.
The shoes run a little small, so if you wear an 8.5-9, order a 9.5. Read their return policy. They give you 30 days to return them but there are stipulations. Keep all the packing in case you want to return them and keep them in resalable condition.
Great for plantar fasciitis
I have been receiving treatments for plantar fasciitis for about a year and have tried many things including exercises, surgery, and custom inserts. Some things helped, but I needed more. The most effective shoes I had were g-defy sneakers, but I needed something more substantial that I could wear rain or shine and in the mud if need be, and would come in a wide width. These shoes not only did all that, but they have a pronounced rocke, which is very soothing. My g-defy sneakers had helped considerably but these are even better andare more durable and versatile. Since I got them, I have worn little else, and my pain is gone. I can't guarantee it will do the same for everyone, but they work for me.
One tip: These shoes run about 1/2 size small,so if you wear an 8 1/2 to 9. order a size 9 1/2.
I work In construction and on my feet all day. I have severe planters fasciitis in my left foot. These boots reduced my pain enormously. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because It’s too early to judge the durability. I would recommend them to anyone who has foot pain. I’ve since ordered a pair of the gym shoes.
Good idea. bad design
Just standing the boots are very comfortable. However the actual surface contact point of the heel is too narrow and the foot goes sideways. You will end up with an ankle injury. If they made it with a heel base as wide as the boot like regular boots, it could be the most popular boot made. I informed them of the problem and they offered me another pair of boots just like it. Poor designers and trouble with reading comprehension.

The boots are awesome, I can wear them all day and don’t what to take them of. For me the are really comfortable. For my expeliese y love them. I use to wear kurus but the first set of gravity Defyer(shoes) i put on, I was a costumer I have five pair, from the.
I have used these boots for a year now, and just reordered. They held up better than expected. Their waterproofing held up for eleven months. The last year had a 300% jump in activity. I do remodeling and hard on shoes, walking shoe broke down three months early. And this is with much less activity. My biggest complaint would be the thread breaks down before the shoe wears out. This is the biggest flaw I have found with all six pair I have owned. With the exception of my dress shoes. But I will be ordering again soon.
They are definitely comfortable, don't count on them lasting too long.

They fit and felt nicely The biggest disappointment was the quality. The laces are terrible and came apart in a very short period of time. The outside of the uppers wore well. The soles did not last like they should and were disappointing.
