Work for Walmart.
I love the comfort of these shoes. I have had a lot of foot pain and these help a lot. My concern is that for the price they should last longer than 60 days. The mesh on the shoes already has a hole where your foot bends and is also pulling away from the sole of the shoe. I contacted customer service and they say that there is only a 60 day warranty from the day that you order not from the day you received them.
Hopefully it workd
I have been having a foot pain coz of plantar fAciitiz i tried every shoes and shots and saw this show on the internet.. i got my shoes today and trying it at work now and so far my feet hurt a little bit. They told me that i need to break them in I still have to wait and see on how its going to work..
I work at Wal-Mart so am on my feet all day. The shoes work good but they are starting to teat by my big toe joint on my left foot. Still having some foot pain but knees are doing better. Not sure iI'd buy another pair, quite a lot of money.

I love the shoes. I'm a nurse and on my feet all day. I've bought and worn out the black and white ones and would love to buy another pair of the same and they always are out of stock. Please help me find a size 9 in the black and white ones.
Have bought 2 pair and will keep buying.
I suffered a severe ankle and tibia compound fracture 5 years ago. Up until a year ago I struggled with walking long distances and being on my feet for long, no matter what shoe or insert. My husband did some research, unbeknownst to me, and order these shoes. I’m not proud to say I fought him on them thinking nothing would help, pain is my life now. Well, I tried them on and we quickly figured out they were too small so, my husband returned them and ordered a half size bigger and they fit perfect. They did make me sore at first just like the insert says but, it didn’t not take long before they were heaven on my feet. I am up and down at work consistently and I have to walk quite a ways from my car into work, these shoes were a huge game changer for me. Unless I’m at home in my crocs, these shoes are always on my feet. 😲 I even mow the lawn in them!
Gravity Defyer’s are worth every penny!!!
I didn't believe it
I didn't really believe this shoe would eliminate my foot pain. I am happy to say I was wrong. I crushed my ankle when I was in my twenties, about fifty years ago. I have had ankle and foot pain getting progressive worse all these years. It took a little getting used to the shoes but I wore them for a couple of hours each day to break them in. They made the back of my heel store at first but that soon went away. Now when wearing them I am almost completely pain free. I would happily order these again. I have ordered a pair of Gdefy boots, I hope they will be as comfortable as these!
Shoe is defective.

I bought these shoes and have enjoyed wearing them, but after about 3 months the bottom of the shoe started to come apart. The black section of the sole started to peel away from the rest of the sole. I used to repair it. Later, another section did the same thing . I glued it and found a few other spots that needed attention. These shoesccould be a tripping hazard. I plan to let the company know..
Thank goodness they were on sale
I purchased these shoes when they went on sale. They run small in length so I had to exchange them for a half size larger. The replacement I received was not brand new. They were previously worn and the insoles were dirty. If I had paid full price, I would have asked for a refund. Since I had to exchange my size, I was okay with it. They do feel wide, I had to use the other insole to tighten them. Since I don't have another sizing insole, I will probably purchase some tongue pads to make sure my feet don't slide forward. Otherwise, very comfortable shoes. I would purchase again, on sale, of course.
Love the shoes but not the soles
by Debra from Arkansas
I love these shoes; however, there is one problem that should be resolved. The soles of these shoes are different from most of the other sneakers. I have a lot of gravel and some briars where I live. When I do outside, these items get into the soles of the shoes and can come out in the house. I have to pick out the little rocks and clean the soles every time I wear them outside. I have the mighty walk sneakers and I do not have to do that with them. Please change the soles of the ions. If the soles were like the mighty walk, they would be perfect.
Excellent shoes for my new healthy lifestyle!
I am a 52- year-young woman creating a new healthy lifestyle. The G-Defy Ion Athletic Shoes are the excellent walking shoes to help me accomplish it. This athletic shoes bring comfort to my feet and eliminate the lower back discomfort that I felt during walking. I can walk 4 miles a day easily and with energy. It has been 5 weeks that I first wear the shoes, and it took about a week to adjust to them. They are totally worth it. I greatly recommend them for daily walking.
Terrible, do not buy!
I would not recommend these shoes for the following reasons:
1. The toe box is too narrow, in other words, the toebox is tapered inward to a point and my toes are forced to point inwards, instead of the natural splay of my foot. They aggravate my toe joints and I am not able to move my toes.
2. The shoe is too wide, so my foot slides forward, which pushes my toes inward and causes more problems (see 1.)
3. The height of the shoes is too high. If you step down wrong, you could twist your ankle (which has happened to me). Not good for weak/soar/injured ankles.
4. They are also pretty stiff and they do not fit like a glove. They do not feel like a part of my foot. I am scared that these will cause my feet more injury than good. Also, they did not improve my plantar fasciitis pain. These shoes encourage you to land on your heels when walking.
These will be yard shoes for when I do hardly any walking since I have missed the return date.
Best pain Reliever.!!
by Karen's Mom
I ordered these shoes for my daughter as a gift. I am forwarding the text as I received from her: "Love these shoes. All the pressure and pain in my feet and lower legs is just gone...after wearing for an hour. Amazing.!" She is now wearing for her entire 12 hr. shift on concrete floor. The catalog that came w/her shoes she has given to a co-worker who suffers from constant sore feet. She will also be adding more GD's to her wardrobe.

I can't walk it numb my feets, don't they are not comfortable. I regret buying this tennis shoes to expensive they are not comfortable.
I might change my mind over time but, esthetically, these are poorly put together. Maybe they spent more time in the innards than making it pleasing on the outside. I peeled off the stickers showing the inner springs and the rubber peeled right off either it. Funny they don't let you submit pictures. It would speak volumes. As for comfort, okay so far. Will see what happens when I'm working a 10 hour shift. I don't have time to break these in. They need to work or they'll be sent back.
Plantar, knee, hip back pain gone
I'm going to have to say I don't like spending a lot of $ on shoes over $100.00, but my feet, knee, hip, and back have suffered from it. I've thought about spending a little extra and reading up on the reviews I thought I give these a try. I'm so glad I did! I didn't order from the company but thru Amazon. These shoes are amazing and I'm seriously thinking about getting another pair. Since I've had these my plantar fisicitis, knee, hip, and back have gone away. I used to get up; as it hurt so bad limping all the time and now I don't. I did read up on the directions with the extra insoles that came with it. I'm glad they had the extra. If you don't have the feet problem then its probably not ment for you, but I'm seriously going to get another pair.
Wear Out Quickly
I purchased these per of shoes after unpleasant experience with planter fasciitis. I work long hours on my feet and found these shoes researching online and reading reviews of how helpful they are to someone who has feet issues. Right from the box the shoes provided comfort and I was able to stand on my feet for a long periods of time without the pain or disconfirm. However, the comfort lasted few months and I had to look for insoles. I have been wearing the shoes now for total of almost 9 months and I see wear and tear. I was hoping to last longer. I’m very disappointed. Going to try another brand.
