I love these shoes!
Does anyone know how to clean them?
Great Shoes - best cushioning yet!
I've owned 5 or 6 pairs of Gravity Defyers since 2012 when my hip began to wear out, with some success, so I wasn't expecting too much when I purchased these Iokia II's. What a difference from my previous purchases! Great Shoes! I am on my feet for hours at a time on thick cement floors and these are the best version of Gravity Defyers for impact absorption by far. I had my hip replaced in 2013 but I never missed work except for mandatory post-surgery recovery time. These shoes are the best, particularly with the velcro closure, although I just slip them on. I use them with a rigid, heat-formed arch support, but I've used other arch supports with equal success. It's the cushioning that sets this shoe apart from even other, earlier versions offered by Gravity Defyer. I wear them every day to work for over a year now, and they just keep working great! I may have considered retiring by now if I hadn't found a solution to my necessity of spending 12 -13 hours days mostly on my feet, if it weren't for this shoe! It does have a quite high base that they've done a decent job disguising into the shoe design, but it never feels unsteady or tippy: just a little awkward looking at first - but the difference in this shoes' ability to absorb shock far exceeds quibbles about the shoe height. I'd like to see this excellently re-designed, softer platform expanded into other new shoe offerings as well, perhaps a newer work boot? Very Well Done Gravity Defyer Designers!!!

FYI, the 2 ☆ rating on my previous review is wrong. It should be 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!
It's a MUST BUY for those with terrible foot pain

Review field can't have more than 1000 characters....THANKS I spent like 10 minutes writing.....anyways....I have TERRIBLE foot pain, my podiatrist said that the tendons are literally being pulled off and he designed custom soles for my feet....they were better than the other expensive shoes I bought hoping to end the pain....Gdefy seriously works.....I have absolutely zero foot pain, I worked two jobs which were the two longest i've had and I had to STAND all day long, assembly line and cashier....these shoes are INCREDIBLE, zero pain at ALL....these seriously need to be mass produced and everyone needs to know about them.
Look guys I am 6’5” and over 260lbs and on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day going from tile flooring to carpet in a restaurant I own and have tried every brand out there. SAS was my shoe of choice for years and years until gravity defyers started making these slip resistant shoes and for three years have worn nothing but these. Started out with the fabric ones first and when the leather uppers came out switched. My only regret is that now the leather doesn’t come in a size 12. I purchased two pair of leather shoes size 12 middle 2016 and now I need to order new shoes. I had a little room in the 12 wide length wise and hope that I will be able to fit in the 11.5. I would not by the fabric because the stitching didn’t hold up for me and not really into the slip on style at this time .. will post after I try the 11.5 wide size.
Had this shoe for every day work for 19 months now. Actually like it better than Brooks which are my close favorite
Very nice shoes
Work related , at restaurant , good comfort all day
Bad memories of this shoe....
I tried this shoe for work [I stand about 6-8 hours a day] i only wore this shoe every other day but after 2 months the inner lining was wearing away so they sent me a replacement and the same thing happened. The inner lining around the heel simple tore and vecame very uncomfortable. The overall cushion was fine and I loved the rocker sole, but the toe box was strangely shaped and my little toes rubbed the side and caused blisters. Overall, a shoe that was far too expensive and not NEARLY durable enough. I'm trying out their new hiking boots and fingers crossed they are better! FYI I LOVE my sandals from this company and an older yellow pair of sneakers has held up very well. This particular model however simply was not built tough for work.
